Krka National Park – Jewel of the Dalmatian Hinterland

Just 18 km from Autocamp Ivona lies a national park with Croatia's most famous waterfalls. Spend a day in nature with the spectacular Skradinski Buk waterfall.

Krka National Park is one of Croatia's most visited natural attractions. The Krka River flows through a canyon cut into limestone rock, creating a series of spectacular waterfalls. The most famous is Skradinski Buk — the only waterfall in Europe where swimming is permitted within a protected zone.

Skradinski Buk – Crown of the Park

Skradinski Buk is a low cascading waterfall, 17 metres high, tumbling into pools of crystal-clear turquoise-green water. A wooden walkway winds through the forest, over the very water, offering unforgettable photo opportunities. In summer, swimming is allowed in the pools below the falls.
